Lumbanyeni Zambia (Steh auf und singe von Sambia,
stolz und frei) ist die Nationalhymne
Sambias. Sie wurde 1964 nach der Unabhängigkeit Sambias
angenommen. Es existieren Textfassungen auf Englisch und auf
Bemba. Die Melodie wurde von der Hymne Nkosi Sikelel’
iAfrika (Gott segne Afrika) übernommen, die von dem
Südafrikaner
Enoch Mankayi Sontonga im Jahre 1897 komponiert wurde.
Die gleiche Melodie dient auch als
Nationalhymne Tansanias und bildet den ersten Teil der
Nationalhymne Südafrikas.
